Pendik camp 2025.06.30 - 07.06.
A little report about the trip.
It was wonderful! The location - deep in the forest in the shade of pine trees.
Nationalities - Uzbek, Mongolian, Kosovo Turk, Serbian Bosnian, Palestinian, Turkish, and us Hungarians.
The atmosphere - continuous programs, sports competitions, quizzes, sightseeing, Hagia Sophia, Sultan's Palace, Bosphorus cruise, group dance on board the ship in the lights of Istanbul at night, entertainment in an amusement park.
The cavalcade of cultures gave the camp a special atmosphere, everyone found an activity or sports activity to their liking, in which the different groups joined each other.
We ended the evenings at a campfire, where we learned Turkish, Mongolian, Serbian, Hungarian group dances together.
The highlight of the camp was the cultural evening, where everyone could perform a dance of their choice, taste typical delicacies of the country, or look at interesting things.
We Hungarians performed the Csángó dance called Ördög útja and taught it to the others.
The children and we had an unforgettable experience. Personally, I would go back anytime.
