Turkish Embassy organized a commemoration for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on the occasion of his death anniversary, on Atatürk square, Kispest.
The embassy invited Gajda Péter, mayor of Kispest, who took part in the commemoration together with his colleagues.
Turkish ambassador in Budapest, Sakir Fakili talked about Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder and first president of the modern Republic of Turkey.
Ambassador talked about the friendly contact of the two countries and emphasized the successful town twinnig relation between Kispest and Pendik.
According to the turkish tradition , at 9:05 a.m., the time of Atatürk’s death,the participants observed one minutes of silence.
