Visit to the student camp – July 9, 2012
On Friday the mayor visited the Polish, Turkish and Serb students spending summer holiday in the camp in Káptalanfüred.
This year the sister town student exchange program began on Wednesday: children arrived from Sombor, Serbia and Pendik (Istanbul), Turkey in the morning then travelled to Káptalanfüred to the summer camp of the local government. Polish students have also arrived at night from Krzeszowice.
Dr. Richárd Tarnai, Member of Parliament, Peter Gajda mayor visited the camp on Thursday, György Vinczek, deputy mayor went and saw the children on Saturday.
Within the framework of this summer holiday of 10 days at Lake Balaton students take part in sports programmes, folklore events, go to the lake-shore, excursions, boat trips, sightseeing in Balatonalmádi, Tihany, Veszprém and other entertainment facilities are waiting for them.
